Officers were busy across the region responding to various types of calls.

It's estimated that damages from the fires this year alone add up to more than $1 million. 

During a joint investigation, police seized approximately 144 grams of what is believed to be cocaine, a small amount of Canadian cash, along with a vehicle. 

Nishnawbe Aski police say a 43-year-old man charged after an alleged ‘serious assault.’

On Saturday evening, around 7 p.m., an OPP officer observed a vehicle crossing the centre line. 

The Special Investigations Unit says no reasonable grounds for criminal charges after a probe into the incident that resulted in two broken fingers for a Mishkeegogamang man.

The 64-year-old was charged with numerous trafficking-related offences.

Ontario Provincial Police say the 38-year-old fled after the crash, was tracked down by the canine unit.

Police did not name the 41-year-old Eagle Lake First Nation woman in their release. 

Officers had also learned that the driver was prohibited from driving due to a court order and had a driver's licence suspension.
