I am so sorry to hear this.
I was just sorting through my career files and
found class pictures with Jan. She and I worked so hard together at RiverView to give the students the best learning experiences. I can’t believe she is gone. She was wonderful!

Such a shock, it must feel unbearable.
I recall our fun times working at Woolco, back in the day!
I can still see Gerry coming down the main aisle of the store.
Always a “man on a mission”!
He wasn’t there long, before he stole your heart!
And then, there was no looking back! Oh the adventures you had together!
I hope sometime soon, all your memories will give you comfort.

I absolutely agree! Sault Ste Marie has always had a strong market for tourism. Any investment that can pull visitors across the river is worth the money. Keeping them here to spend their vacation dollars is the goal. During Covid there was a lot of interest from southern Ontario residents, so again let’s keep them coming back! We have a lot of talent to showcase: Roberta Bondar, Zoey Wood Salomon, Group of Seven, Doug Hook, Maria Parrella-Ilaria to name just a few.
