Okay. President trump raised the tariff to 50% because he can and is holding all the cards.I don,t blame him because he is looking out for the best interests of the US and people who voted him in. Here,s the deal. Trump is getting a lot of heat from his supporters because of the counter tariffs imposed against the US by Canada for a large number of products in retaliation for the initial 25% tariff he imposed two months ago. Canada needs to make a deal with Trump to remove all their tariffs if the US will agree to lower their tariffs on steel and aluminum to 15 to 20 per cent..Both sides can live with that and move forward.Rememeber what i posted and let us see what transpires.

Typical Algoma. Run to the government for a bailout when they can,t pay their bills. Don,t worry, they are well versed in the bankruptcy protection route from previous episodes. Maybe they should have put some money aside in better times when they handed out huge bonuses and profit sharing cheques.

Yes they are so enviromentally correct ,they have pushed themeselves right out of the steel market. EAF will kill more than half of the workforce and there is nothing the union can do to stop or prevent it. Management knows this but doesn,t want to talk about it. Meanwhile China steel mills pouring out emissions through the roof using old traditional steel making technology and running full bore.

He is a great leader who is doing what he was elected for and is fighting for American jobs. His tariffs will generate trilions of dollars for the US economy. Wish he was the leader of this country. This country need a Trump card.

I worked with Earl at the Sault OPP Detachment in his final years while he was a Sgt in the radio room. We talked many times as he loved to talk about hunting and fishing as did I. Earl was well respected by all members of the OPP and a true gentleman. I can recall him helping me at detachment on one occasion when I needed some muscle to assist in bringing in a hostile prisoner.He was rock solid and always willing to provide guidance to younger officers. Rest in peace Earl. Bruno Chiarot

Just a great man who contributed so much to this city. Like all the Fratesi men, he was a real gentleman with a big heart. I used to work out next to him at the YMCA. My deepest condolences to the Fratesi family. Bruno Chiarot
