Steven Francis Lesperance
March 28, 1995 – July 15, 2025
Steven Francis Lesperance, age 30 years passed away peacefully at the TBRHSC on July 15, 2025, with his loving family by his side. Steven loved the outdoors especially camping, fishing, hunting, and spending time with his family. He was a lover of all music and gaming. Steven excelled as a goalie since the age of 5 years old and played for the Nipigon Elks for many years. Steven was a student at St. Edward’s Catholic School and Nipigon Red Rock District High School. During his working years, he ventured into carpentry and the automotive fields. Steven is survived by his parents Frank and Heather Lesperance, by his sisters Shavone Lesperance and Allyson (Benjamin Kok) Lesperance, by his two daughters Charlie Smith and Ariella Dickson Lesperance, by his partner Kylie Dickson, by his one niece Alexandra Belise and her father Mathew Belisle, by his only surviving grandparent “Gaga” Harold Michon (Monique), by his Auntie friend Cheryl Lesperance, by his uncles Conway (Connie) Lesperance and Mike (Shannon) Lesperance, by his aunties Lucille Lesperance, and Norma Lesperance, as well as numerous other relatives and friends survive. Steven was predeceased by his nanny Agnes Michon, by his momma Shirley Lesperance, by his papa Albert Lesperance, by his dear cousin Brittany Lesperance, by his uncle and godfather Curtis Lesperance and auntie Cecile Lesperance and numerous other relatives. The family would like to thank the TBRHSC- ICU for the care and compassion they gave Steven during his final days. A wake in Steven’s memory will be held on Friday, July 25, 2025, at the Lake Helen Resource Centre at 6:00 p.m. A funeral Mass will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, July 26, 2025, at the Church of Annunciation in Nipigon.
