Steven Ernest Parsons, resident of Armstrong Station, Ontario passed away peacefully on April 21, 2025 at the Thunder Bay Regional Health Sciences Centre with family and friends by his side. Steven was born in Sarnia, Ontario to parents Murray and Gail (Laybourne) Parsons. Steven moved to Armstrong at the age of 18. He worked alongside his uncles and grandfather at family-owned businesses. More recently Steven worked for Northstar Frontier Services at the CN bunkhouse. He cared for many CN workers that travel on the railway. He loved his sweets and baked many treats for them. Steven was never idle, he built his own home and was an avid gardener and enjoyed sharing his vegetables with family and friends.
Steven is survived by his siblings Alan, Cheryl, Colleen (Desmond), Wayne and nephews and nieces David Parsons, Brad (Denise) Lavoie, Nicole (Wayne) Wastaken, Lance Dugas and many great nieces and nephews, uncles, aunts and cousins.
Steven is predeceased by his parents Murray and Gail Parsons, niece Melanie Robinson and nephew Levi Dugas.
The family wishes to extend thanks to the nurses, staff and doctors who cared for Steven at the Thunder Bay Regional Health Sciences Centre and staff at the Tamarack House.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, May 24, 2025, at 2 pm at Gail’s Grill & Bakery, 5 King Street, Armstrong Station, Ontario.
