It is with great sadness that we announce the peaceful passing for Stan Werbowetski on May 17th, 2025 at the age of 88. Stan was a man of great kindness, patience, integrity and devotion to all that crossed his path in life. Stan’s love of music had him involved in several local bands over the years. From the Swing Kings of the 60’s-70’s to the Community Band and others entertaining many in the community for decades.
He is survived by his loving wife of 68 years, Delores, his brother Bill, and four children Debbie, Joanne, David and Tom. Followed by his grandchildren and great-grandchildren who Stan always enjoyed spending time with.
In lieu of flowers, if friends desire donations can be made in memorial at the Thunder Bay Regional Health Sciences Foundation. A celebration of life will be held at the Superior Inn Hotel, Regency Ballroom on Friday, May 23rd from 1pm-4pm.
The sounds of his clarinet will always be remembered.
