It is with profound sadness and shock that we announce the sudden passing of Sieg Badke on June 10th, 2025.
Sieg leaves behind his beloved wife, Lynda Cambly; his stepsons, Dan Nordstrom, and Rylan Nordstrom (David Hudson). He is also survived by his children, Tami Badke (grandson Mack) and Ryan.
Sieg will be deeply missed by his brother Reiner (Shelley) and his sister Adeline. He also leaves behind his mother-in-law Maryann Cambly, sister-in-law Joanne Cambly, and brother-in-law Chris Cambly (Marsha).
Numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and cherished friends, including brothers Bill and Greg Chvets, will also mourn his passing.
He will be especially missed by our fur babies, Camper Cali, Pickles, and Taco. The Vancouver Canucks will undoubtedly have one less dedicated fan cheering them on next season.
Sieg found great peace in the slower pace of life in Thunder Bay. He cherished being at the lake, indulging in his passion for fishing, and socializing with fellow campers.
Family and friends are invited to celebrate Sieg’s life and share memories on Friday, June 20th, from 3:00 pm – 7:00 pm at the Westfort Prosvita, 721 W. Gore St., Thunder Bay.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Sieg’s memory to Canuck Place Children’s Hospice or to an animal rescue of your choice.
