It is with heavy hearts we announce the passing of Robert Walter Everett on April 30, 2024, at the TBRHSC, with family by his side. Born on February 19, 1939, Bob was the eldest son of the late Leonard and Ethel Violet Everett.

A gifted student, skipping the 1st grade, he attended Franklin School, FWCI, Lakehead College of Science and Technology, and articled for 4 years through Queens University to obtain his Chartered Accounting designation in 1965.

Bob was the founder of R.W. Everett Accounting and Everett Rentals. He owned and operated an extensive real estate practice and was helped greatly by trusted employees Janet, Barb, Chris, Donnie and Jeff. He cared deeply for his clients and tenants, many of whom have been with him for decades.

Bob played golf, hockey, squash, racket ball, badminton, tennis and curling in his adult years. He loved golf, winning the Peterson Invitational at Glen Abbey with Johnny Adams in 1981. At the FWCC, he loved the 19th hole and Wednesday twilight, often followed by festivities at Uncle Frank's, hosted by his great friend Billy Colosimo. Here he would spend time laughing with friends Marvin, Macaroni, Ward, John, Wayne, and many others.

He curled for many decades and had great fun at bonspiels with the late Larry Taylor. On Monday’s, he played various sports with his brother, Richie; nephew, Justin; Normie, Wayne, Gerry, Dave, Dan, Brian and Kenny for decades. Friday’s at 4pm, the Elks gang met up and told many stories. Some of which were true. Bob loved entertaining the boys: Gravy, Pic Man, Smitty, Jack, Billy, Roger, Steve D, Rookie, Steve S, Stevie, Bob, Frank, Kevin, Wayne, George, Tinker, Roger, Spudsy, Bill, Richie, and Ronnie.

Bob loved summers at Mackenzie Beach with Donna and her children Alan and Trisha. He loved hugging his grandsons before bed. He was proud of all his family's many achievements.
