With broken hearts we announce the passing of our beloved mother, Rose.
She believed in unconditional love, hard work, and selflessness and her legacy will live on in our hearts. She was a hardworking, dedicated and loyal employee of Northern Windows Manufacturing Limited for 25 years.
Mom will be forever loved and missed by her six children, Gary (Carol), Joseph (Anita), Jeffrey (Alicia), Tammy (Keith), Melissa (Rob), Walter (Jon); her grandchildren and great grandchildren.
She is survived by her mother Muriel Chedore whom she loved with all her heart; her siblings – Charlotte MacDonald (Nick), Louise McDonnell (Terry Spence), Marilyn McDonnell, Donna Rix (Wayne), Steven McDonnell (Leanne Taft), Larry McDonnell (Dorothy) and sisters-in-law Mary Ann McDonnell, Sharon McDonnell, and Lauren McDonnell.
She was predeceased by her husband Raymond Ransome 1995, father Richard R. McDonnell (2002), brothers Richard W. (2016), Hector J. (2008), Sean (2004), Cory (2024).
The family would like to extend a special thank you to her sister Marilyn for the support she gave our mother.
Thank you to all our friends who have sent well wishes and support in our hours of loss. The family is respectfully asking for time now to grieve in private.
As per mom's wishes there will be no funeral. The family will host a celebration of life on Saturday, June 28, 2025, for friends and family at 705 McIntosh Street, Thunder Bay, on Newfie time.
