Mom was born in Dryden, Ontario, April 11, 1932 and lived there most of her life.  In her younger years she worked casual shifts as a nurse's aide at the Dryden hospital.  She then worked as a casual receptionist at an insurance company for a few years.

Her focus was her family and her home and her yard.  Dad and Mom took pride in their yard and Mom had lovely rose and flower gardens. She liked to bake especially buns and cinnamon buns which she then shared with their special people.  She was a talented knitter, sewer and crafter Mom and Dad were active in Our Saviour Lutheran Church in Dryden.  They moved to Thunder Bay in the late 90's to be close to their adult children and their growing families.  Once here they were members of Christ Lutheran and then Calvary Lutheran Church.

Mom was predeceased by her loving husband Walter in 2011, her parents Phil and Gwen Robinson, brother Tom, her in-laws Sigurt and Ragna Hogan and Walter's three sisters and two brothers and their spouses.

We would like to thank the staff of Hummingbird Southbridge Pinewood who have cared for our Mother for the past ten years in a compassionate, kind and caring way in her journey with dementia.
