Peggy Elaine Cormier (Goodwin) a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, daughter, sister, aunt and friend, passed away on May 14, 2025 at the Geraldton District Hospital, at the age of 65. Born on January 3, 1960 to Allison and Margaret Goodwin whom raised Peggy in Geraldton where she enjoyed camping with family, playing baseball and hockey in her younger years and being part of the Geraldton dart club for many years. Peggy had a love for Christmas where she welcomed many family and friends into her home for her famous homemade Chinese dinner.

Peggy was married to her beloved husband Andrew, for 47 wonderful years. Together they built a life full of love, laughter and cherished memories. Peggy was the proud mother of her four children and her greatest joy came from her grandchildren whom she loved to spoil and spend time with. Peggy brought joy and laughter to everyone she encountered throughout her remarkable life and her many years working at the Bargain Shop. She will be fondly remembered for her sense of humour, her love of gardening and all her family get togethers.

She is survived by her husband Andrew, children Ryan, Blaine (Robbie), Chelsie and Courtney (Charlie), her mother Margaret (Peggy), brother George (Kerry), sister Nancy (James), her grandchildren Natalia, Jordyn, Noah, Liam and Sophia, as well as many in-laws, nieces and nephews.

Peggy was preceded in death by her father Allison, sister Karen, niece Lori and in-laws Sears and Dorothy.

Cremation has taken place with a celebration of life to take place at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to The Canadian Liver Foundation in honour of Peggy Cormier.

Our family would like to thank everyone for their love and support during this difficult time. Also, a big thank you to the staff at the Geraldton District Hospital for all your help caring for Peggy. We appreciate each and everyone of you.
