August 13, 1958 – June 5, 2025
Mr. Richard "Gus" Kingston, 66 years, of Red Rock, Ontario passed away on Thursday, June 5, 2025 in the Thunder Bay Regional Health Sciences Centre, with his family by his side.
Richard was predeceased by his parents Clifford (Gus) and Elizabeth (Beth), his brothers Don and David and his sister Debby. He is survived by his son Caelan; siblings Heather (& Jean-Guy) Lagrange, Mary (& Ron) Pickering, Victoria Kingston, and Cynthia (& Eugene) Lapointe as well as numerous nieces, nephews and extended family.
Friends and family were important to Richard and we thank all of those who took the time to come see him in his final days, including his faithful furry friend Bernie.
A special thank you to the doctors, nurses and staff in the ICU at Thunder Bay Regional Health Sciences Centre for all of the care and comfort you provided to Richard and our family.
According to Richard's wishes, cremation has taken place and there will be no formal service. Instead, we ask that you take the time each day to celebrate and appreciate the special people in your life and toast to the good times. Those wishing to make donations in honour of Richard are invited to contribute to a charity of their choice.
Arrangements have been entrusted to the WESTFORT CHAPEL, 420 West Gore Street, Thunder Bay.
