1961-2025
We sadly announce the passing of Heather on April 10, 2025 at home.
She graduated from the Nurses Aid Program and went to work at Pinewood Court. She loved her job there and loved caring for the elderly.
Heather married Michael Olinyk in 1990 and they had two sons.
Heather loved to make crafts such as knitting and diamond painting but her favorite was making things with beads. She created earrings, bracelets, angels, key chains and anything she could think of. She loved craft sales and took her beautiful creations to the community craft sales. She also loved to have, and go to yard sales.
She belonged to BISNO Group. She loved the group and her worker Truc very much.
Heather is survived by her husband Michael, son Matthew (Kris), grandson Greyson whom she cherished, her son Arthur (Courtney), mother Barbara Lyght. She is also survived by her brothers Rod (Jennifer), Kevin (Maria), Edgar (Cindy), mother-in-law Clara, brother-in-law Mark, aunts Audrey and Elsie, as well as many cousins, nieces and nephews. She is survived by special niece and nephews Rayne, Michael, and AJ Mynott.
Predeceased by her father Jesse Lyght, father-in-Law Nicholas Olinyk, and niece Jayme Jensen.
