Hartmut Tuchenhagen, born July 9, 1936 in West Prussia (now Poland) died on July 9, 2025. Hartmut came to Canada in 1958, and shortly after called Canada his new home and country.
In 1962 he married Gertrude (Trudy) Reinke. Shortly after he started his own painting business Hagen Painting & Decorating. At age 40 he retired from the business and began his desired vocation of building houses – many of which he still owns.
He leaves behind to mourn his wife Trudy, sons Robert (Britta), Gordon (Amy) and grandchildren Hanna, Thomas, Maya, Oliver and Heidi.
A family graveside service has taken place. A Celebration of Life will take place at a later date.
