It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Cornelius “Bo” Spoljarich, who passed away peacefully on May 17, 2025, at the age of 78, at Hogarth Riverview Manor.

Born in Nipigon, ON, Bo worked as a dedicated heavy equipment operator for over 50 years with Operating Engineers Local 793, as well as many years as owner/operator of Con's Welding. Con was known for his strong work ethic and quiet strength. He built a life rooted in perseverance and love for his family.

Bo is survived by his beloved son James (Shannon), daughter Janie (Gord), and cherished grandchildren Katie, Erin, Colin, and Payton.

He will be dearly missed by his brothers Reg (Rose) and Michael, as well as numerous nieces and nephews, including Shawn Spoljarich and Gordie Spoljarich, with whom he had special bonds.

Con is predeceased by parents Michael and Agnes (McGuire) and siblings Helen Spoljarich, Ed Killar, George Spoljarich, Milan Spoljarich, Henry Spoljarich and Anthony Spoljarich, as well as grandson Bradley.

As per Con’s wishes, there will be no service.

His family extends their gratitude to his nurse Shelley and the staff at Hogarth Riverview Manor (Spruce Grove) for their compassionate care over the last 3 years.
