The Ear Falls Skating Club recently held its annual end of season performance.

The theme for this year’s ice show was Bringing the Beat Back. A total of 26 skaters of various levels preformed in this year’s show.

“This season was busy and very rewarding,” coach Haley Buckler said. “It was nice to have some normalcy back in our season’s routine.”

The skaters performed multiple group numbers, duets, and individual solos. This allowed them to showcase different aspects of their skating throughout the season.

The club also hosted guest skater, Sawyer Grondin from Balmertown, who performed a dance composition and her artistic program.

The club has been around for more than 50 running. It was the first full season back on the ice in three years following the COVID-19 pandemic. The skaters have gotten to practice, compete, showcase, and test throughout the season.

The club is a non-profit organization that operates with the support of many local sponsors as well as volunteers. Buckler has been coaching at the club for 14 years now.

“We are all very proud of the skaters and their accomplishments,” Buckler said. “We can’t wait to see what next season brings.”
