Mr. Roy Frederick Atkinson, age 74 years passed away peacefully on Monday, May 29, 2023 in the Thunder Bay Regional Health Sciences Centre.
Roy was born November 3, 1948 in Dagenham, England. He was a insurance adjuster for many years. During his retirement, he enjoyed watching tennis, playing cards, doing puzzles and crosswords and napping with his best dog Luna.
Roy will be lovingly remembered by his wife Carol, daughters Lynsey and Cerissa, granddaughter Lierra, daughter-in-law Arlayna, sister Wendy and family and friends in England.
He was predeceased by parents Bert and Cecilia and son Richard.
As per Roy’s request, cremation has taken place and no funeral will be held. The family wishes to thank Dr. Calonego, Dr. Nucci, Dr. Kearney, Dr. Coccimiglio and the staff of 3C at the TBRHSC.
