It is with heavy hearts that the family of Raymond Ernest Belluz announces his passing on August 4, 2025 at the age of 83.

Born and raised in Thunder Bay, Ray was a pillar of the local real estate community and a generous supporter of numerous charitable organizations such as Crimestoppers, Harbour Youth Services and Northern Linkage (a non profit housing initiative to assist individuals involved in the mental health system). In his younger years, he was also a talented steel pedal guitar player who created several bands across the city. Ray will be remembered for his kindness, strength, creativity, and unwavering dedication to his family and community.

He is survived by his beloved wife of 61 years, Gail, and his children Tony (Allison), Lorrina (Shyam), and Jeanine (Michael). He was a proud grandfather to Kelsey, Breanne (Matthew), Jade, Jacob, Brooklyn, and Ava, and great-grandfather to Charolotte, Liam, Parker, and Casey. He is also survived by his brother Ken, and many nieces and nephews.

Ray was predeceased by his parents Mary and Arthur, His in-laws Malcom and Ilene Monty and his sister Marlene.

Whether you knew Ray through the community or had the privilege of working with him in real estate, he left a lasting impression. His legacy will be remembered for years to come.

A Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday August 12 at 10:00 AM at St. Agnes Parish, with a reception to follow at the Da Vinci Centre. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Northern Linkage and the George Jeffrey Children’s Centre.

Arrangements have been entrusted to the Westfort Chapel, 420 West Gore Street at James.
