Our sweet Linda May passed peacefully from this world to be with her Mum, Margaret. Linda was a bright light; always smiling and facing every challenge with a quiet strength and resilience. She was a beautiful soul and won the hearts of everyone who came to know her.
Linda grew up with a love of music, playing her favourite records and singing along to her most favoured tunes. She enjoyed craft activities of all kinds but especially loved to colour while watching her best loved sitcoms like "Happy Days" with "The Fonz". Thumbs up Linda! She looked forward to summer camp each year especially spending time in the hot tub at Mink Mountain. Most recently, a trip to Disneyland with her best friend and roommate Maryanne was a dream come true. They had the time of their lives!
Linda is lovingly remembered by her Dad, Anthony Filipovic, Sisters Maureen Belisle and Norma Vaillant, Brothers Mike (Tracey) Filipovic and Steve (Stephanie) Filipovic. Nieces and Nephews: Jacob (Michelle), Joshua (Nicole & Russell, Ashley), Mike (Rachel) Belisle, Cody (Megan), Nathan (Cheyenne) Vaillant, Erin (Chris & Claire) Longley, Katie and Ryan Filipovic. Auntie Annie Filipovic, Auntie Winnie Marin and numerous cousins.
Linda lived a full and happy life. The last 29 years she was supported by CLTB with their amazing compassionate team of Care Workers. We wish to express our love and appreciation to Elizabeth, Tanya, Kelly, Laurie, Hailey, Becky and Kelly, also Sara and her VON team.
A celebration of life will be held at a later date. Donations to Community Living Thunder Bay in Linda's memory are appreciated.
