With broken hearts we announce that Jessica Joan Stevens passed away peacefully on May 26, 2025, at St. Joseph’s Hospital – Hospice, surrounded by family and in complete comfort.
She leaves behind her partner Rory and their cherished son Bodhi. Jessica is also survived by her mother Donna Stevens and her brother Lee Stevens. She was predeceased by her father, Peter Stevens, who passed a few years prior.
Jessica attended Sir John A. Macdonald Public School and PACI / Hammarskjold High School. An outdoor enthusiast from childhood, Jessica found joy in figure skating, fishing, waterskiing, and snowmobiling. Summers meant time at the lake; winters meant crisp trails and campfires under the stars. Her warmth and easy smile drew people in—she could befriend anyone, anywhere and would always see the best in everyone around her. A true daddy’s girl, Jessica struggled with the loss of her father and will be delighted to “bug” her dad again now that they are reunited.
Jessica thrived in the service department at North Country Cycle & Sports, where customers and co-workers alike praised her dedication, product knowledge, and genuine care.
Jess is lovingly remembered by her aunts Valerie (Rod), Joan, Linda Crane and Catherine (Ron); uncles Dave and Richard (Lana); and a very large circle of cousins who will all miss her dearly.
Cremation has taken place. A public Celebration of Life will be held on Thursday June 12th from 1-4 at Oliver Road Rec Center, where friends and family can gather to share memories and honour Jessica’s remarkable spirit.
The family would also like to thank and compliment the wonderful care at the TBDH ICU and St Joseph's hospice.
