Jack Stewardson

Mr. John (Jack) Lionel Stewardson, born April 6, 1936 to Lionel and Nellie (deceased), passed away with his wife by his side on December 20, 2022.

Jack is survived by his son Christopher, sister Gayle (Russ) and their children Cyndi, Carrie Ann and Brian. Jack will be deeply missed by his wife Clare, her children Brenda (Alen), Marvis, Alfred (Linda), Eric (Nancy), 15 grandchildren and great grandchildren, all of whom were the light of his life.

Jack spent many years as a long-distance truck driver, travelling back and forth to Toronto, then working for the City of Thunder Bay for 23 years until his retirement in 2000. Jack enjoyed cruises and travelling to many places in the world with Clare, wintering 13 years in Mesa, Arizona and going to camp.

Cremation has taken place and a graveside service will follow in the spring. Should friends so desire, donations may be made to the charity of your choice.
