It is with heavy hearts we announce the passing of our beloved mother, daughter and friend on February 11, 2022 at TBRHSC at the age of 60. Donna was born in Kenora, Ontario and spent her younger years living in B.C. and Manitoba before moving back to Thunder Bay to be closer to family.
She loved to cook and could whip up a meal out of nothing. She was talented and artistic, designing her own jewelry and selling them at local native arts and craft shows around the city.
Donna is survived by her mother Christine Jack, daughter Terri Jack, brothers Dale and Chris Jack, numerous nieces, cousins and friends. She is predeceased by her father Samuel LacSeul, aunts Lillian Alto and Sarah Kejick and uncle Fred Jack.
Funeral services for Donna will be held on Friday, February 18, 2022 at Harbourview Funeral Centre, 499 North Cumberland Street, at 11:00 a.m. with Pastor Angela Bedaysie officiating. Visitation will be held one hour prior. The service will be livestreamed and archived at www.jenkensfuneral.ca where condolences may be offered. As directed by the Province of Ontario and the Bereavement Authority of Ontario, wearing of masks or face coverings by everyone and maintaining social distancing of 6 feet is mandatory.
In lieu of flowers, if friends so desire, donations can be made in Donna's name to the Kidney Foundation.
