It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Brian Melford Prince, who left us peacefully on August 23, 2025 at the age of 73. A devoted father, husband, grandfather and true outdoorsman. Brian lived life with the quiet patience of a fisherman and the steady resolve of a hunter.

Born in Iroquois Falls Ontario, a small town in Northern Ontario. He met the love of his life, Robin Lee Wanda Scully and they were married in 1969. They then started a family and had 2 children, Ron & Dale. Brian became a heavy equipment mechanic, this would take him onto many different stages in his career, with him ending up working for Gunn Metal in Guelph, Ontario as a millwright.

Brian loved his family and nothing made him happier then when they were all around, whether it was the garage parties, camp, or the Gordon Lake fishing trips.

Brian is survived by his children Ronald Prince (Nancy), Dale Prince (Belinda); step-grandchildren Amanda, Tracy, Lisa Gallant and Dwanye Dupuis; sisters Sheran Prince, Pamala Prince-Craig (Allister) and extended family of brothers Sam, Ed, and sisters Debbie, Rose, Heather, Frances, and too many nieces and nephews to count.

He is predeceased by his beloved wife, Robin Prince (nee Scully); and father and mother Melford and Barbara Prince. Brother Jack and sister Linda.

Special thanks to the caring staff at Guelph General Hospital, ICU department.

A Celebration of Brian's Life will be held at a later date.
