It is with great sadness we the family of Bernice Ellen (Gaudreau) Wing, age 83 years, of Thunder Bay announce her passing on June 9, 2023. She left us suddenly but peacefully at TBRHSC with her family by her side.

Born on March 13, 1940 in Geraldton ON, she was raised and educated in T. Bay and attended Rosslyn Rd Public School, FWCI for high school, and extended her education at Kings Business College. She was employed as a medical secretary in medical records department at McKellar Hospital, following this she worked at Beacon Hill a LTC facility and finished her employment at Great Lakes Forest Products strapping 2x4’s at the Stud Mill. She retired from there after making many life long friends.

Bernice a loving wife, sister, mother, aunt, niece, grandmother, great grandmother and great great grandmother will always be remembered for never missing any occasion i.e weddings, funerals, birthdays, graduations, hockey, baseball, soccer, figure skating, gymnastics, races to name a few (usually with her best friend and husband Bud by her side).
 
Bernice is survived by her husband and best friend Albert, children Michele (Ben), Gary (Sandra) grandchildren Jennifer (Richard), T.J. (Cheyenne), Melissa (Travis), Kaitlyn (Andrew), Tanis, Linda (Jacob), great grandchildren Landen, Ben Jr., Tauren, Beau, Felix, Kierce, Bobby, Barrett, Teagen, Rosa (dolly), Tazzlen and 2 more on the way. Great great grandson Ciprian. Siblings Coral (Mike), Dunk (Alisa) and so many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends that meant so much to her.
 
She is predeceased by 1 infant son Darrell, parents Joseph and Flora (Martyn) Gaudreau, and sibling Albert (Jet) Gaudreau.
 
A celebration of life will be held on July 5th, at Rosslyn Village Community Centre 3405 Rosslyn Rd. from 3-6 p.m.
