Dad passed away peacefully at Hogarth Riverview Manor just two days after his 98th birthday, he was born and raised in Blake Twp. , he worked for Great Lakes Paper well over 25 years as a truck driver, hauling wood and staying in many bush camps and only able to come home on weekends up until 1986 when he could no longer work, he was a very hard worker and a great Father, he always made sure his family had food on the table and clothes on our backs.

He was predeceased by his parents, four brothers and three sisters, his wife Olive, and his daughter Janice, he leaves behind his daughters Mary and Bill of Selkirk, Man., Pauline and Ralph of Kakabeka Falls, son Albert Jr. and Linda of Thunder Bay, Joe and Gail of Neebing, Granddaughter Becky and Andrew of Winnipeg, sisters-in-law Dorothy and Alma Wyrozub, and nieces and nephews. We would like to take this time to thank each and every PSW and nurses on 2 South that took such wonderful care of our father.

As per Dad's wishes, cremation has taken place and there will be no service. Arrangements have been entrusted to Simpler Times Cremation Centre, 575 Central Avenue, Thunder Bay.
