KENORA — A 48-year-old from Kenora who had been wanted on outstanding warrants has been arrested on drug charges.
Provincial police said officers in Kenora saw a vehicle on Veterans Drive in Kenora on Thursday morning that was being driven by a woman wanted for bail violations.
Police stopped the vehicle and while making an arrest found suspected illicit drugs, including fentanyl.
The accused is charged with drug possession for the purpose of trafficking, possession of proceeds of property obtained by crime under $5,000, and two counts of failure to comply with a release order.
The accused was expected to appear in a bail court on Friday.
