Watch out Dryden, there is a thief on the loose

Dryden OPP is asking for assistance from the public.

DRYDEN – According to the OPP, shortly after 4:00 p.m. on Feb. 25 two unidentified people entered a business on Government Street, removed 20 watches from a display case, then left on foot.  

The watches have an estimated value of $11,000.

Police are seeking assistance in identifying two individuals responsible for the theft.

The individuals are described as follows:

Suspect number one is a male with a goatee. His age is approximately 40 years old.  He was wearing a black sweater, green sweatpants, and a long black jacket with black and white running shoes.

Suspect number two is a male with a black beard. He was wearing a black winter hat with a red emblem, blue jeans, a black winter jacket with fur and black and white running shoes.

Members of the Dryden OPP Detachment are actively conducting an ongoing investigation and are appealing to the public for assistance.
