KENORA — Kenora residents are being reminded to vote for the #ChevroletGoodDeedsCup for the Kenora Thistles U11.
If you haven't taken the time to vote, you are asked to log on before voting closes on April 2.
The Kenora Thistles U11 want to help the sport of Sledge Hockey in Kenora grow for everyone. They recently shared that in late February 2022, Kenora resident Chad English and Natalia Debbo attended the high performance, Sledge Hockey camp with the Women’s National Para Hockey Team.
For them, it was an opportunity to gain exposure and experience at the national level. While there, Chad was named as a guest coach for that weekend.
This experience was no doubt exciting and rewarding, enabling athletes to experience first hand what it was like to participate with a Canadian National Hockey program at the national level.
