DRYDEN — A 20-year-old Dryden resident has been charged after a vehicle left the roadway on Highway 601 near Morton Road.
On Sunday at about 8:45 p.m., officers from the Dryden detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police responded to a report of a vehicle in the ditch, according to a media release issued by police Monday.
The driver provided a breath sample and the screening device registered a fail, said police. She was then arrested and transported to the detachment for further testing.
The woman has been charged with operation while impaired, blood alcohol concentration of 80 mg plus.
She was released from custody and is scheduled to appear in a Dryden courtroom on in late September.
