Under the big top: Great Benjamins Circus returns

The circus will run Friday to Sunday.

THUNDER BAY — The Great Benjamins Circus is returning again to the CLE grounds this weekend.

The three-day circus will have high-flying aerial acts, gravity-defying jugglers, the thrilling "globe of death," an array of acrobatics, clowns and more.

The circus will run on Friday at 4:30 p.m. and 7:30 p.m. There will also be three shows on Saturday at 1:30 p.m., 4:30 p.m. and 7:30 p.m. The last day on Sunday will have a 1:30 p.m. and 4:30 p.m. show.

“We're going to have clowns, trapeze with jugglers (and) motorcycles. We have everything. It's a family show, so it's amazing,” said Alexia Padill, a circus juggler, who performs foot juggling with her dad.

While everything will be interesting for those coming out, she said, in particular, the clowns are amazing for kids and the motorcycles or the "Wheel of Destiny" for adults.

“I love to see the people come and see the show… kids (and) for everybody,” said Padill.

She said she expects a lot of people will be attending over weekend.

“You're going to have fun. It's an amazing show we have ... you can come with your kids, with your grandma, with your papa (or) mama. Everything it's amazing,” said Padill.

"So come and see the show.” she added.

Those looking for more information on ticket prices can visit the circus's website.
