DRYDEN -- Two people have been taken to hospital following a two-vehicle collision over the weekend.
According to Ignace Ontario Provincial Police, officers responded to a report of a two-vehicle collision on Highway 17, McNevin Township just before 5:30 p.m. on Sunday, April 24.
Police say a westbound vehicle crossed into the eastbound lane and collided with an eastbound vehicle.
Both drivers were transported to hospital by EMS for minor injuries sustained from the collision.
As a result of the investigation, a 47-year-old resident of Cambridge, Ont. has been charged with careless driving.
