DRYDEN — Ontario Provincial Police have charged two individuals with impaired operation of the same vehicle.
"The drivers tried to play musical chairs," OPP said in a social media post.
Details of the unusual incident are posted on the North West Region OPP Facebook page.
According to the message yesterday, the Dryden detachment investigated a complaint about a possible impaired driver in the community.
Officers subsequently located the vehicle, and charged the driver with impaired operation after the person failed a test on a screening device.
But the case took a twist when police realized the complainant had actually observed another person behind the wheel.
That individual also registered a fail on a screening device, and was charged with impaired driving as well.
