FORT FRANCES — Two people face several charges after an incident in Fort Frances last weekend.
Provincial police said officers earlier this week were made aware of a robbery and assault that happened at a home in Fort Frances on May 13.
Two suspects were found in a vehicle on Tuesday and have been arrested and charged.
Christopher Whalen, a 42-year-old from Fort Frances, faces charges that include pointing a firearm, forcible confinement, robbery with threat, uttering threats to cause death or bodily harm, two counts of drug possession for the purpose of trafficking, two counts of failure to comply with a release order, and two counts of possession of a firearm or ammunition contrary to a probation order.
Chelsea Bragg, a 33-year-old from Fort Frances, is charged with forcible confinement, robbery with theft, and two counts of drug possession for the purpose of trafficking.
The two are expected to appear in a Fort Frances courtroom on Friday.
The charges have yet to be tested in court.
