IGNACE – Highway 17 has fully re-opened in Ignace following a serious two-vehicle collision.
The OPP said one man aged 65 from the Dryden and Ignace area, who was driving a pickup truck, was airlifted to hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
Two men in a transport truck, one aged 25 from British Columbia and the other aged 21 from Ontario, also both sustained minor injuries and were taken to hospital by EMS as a precaution, following the accident, said the police.
The incident took place at West Beach Drive in Ignace at about 9 a.m. on Thursday, July 31.
The investigation is currently on-going and no charges have been laid yet.
