Traffic stop leads to trafficking charges

Dryden OPP has arrested and charged one individual with drug trafficking after a traffic stop on Highway 17.

DRYDEN – According to the OPP, on March 20 officers initiated a traffic stop on Highway 17 west of the City of Kenora where they found suspected cocaine.

As a result, a 57-year-old from Dryden has been charged with trafficking illicit drugs.

The accused is being held in custody and is scheduled to appear before the court on March 25.
