EMO—The Township of Emo put out an important notice to water customers. They informed residents that the Ontario Clean Water Agency, will be carrying out vale turning and water main flushing of hydrants from May 30, 2022 until Sunday, June 26, 2022.
Residents are reminded that in the event of discoloration of the water supply, cold water taps should be turned on until the water runs clear. They want residents to know that this may last for a few days.
According to the information provided, residents are asked to, “Please refrain from any activities involving the use of water when this condition exists."
