EMO — The Township of Emo sent out a recent announcement letting its community know that it has declared a state of emergency, due to flooding.
On Wednesday, the township released information indicating that, “due to flooding there has currently been damage to critical infrastructure-roads and river front. The Emergency Control Group is monitoring the possibility of further impending damage.”
They assured the public that they are not at any immediate risk at this time, but are encouraged to avoid any areas that are flooded or appear to be affected by high water levels.
