Tickets on sale now for the Dryden Rotary Lucky Duck Race

Only 1,000 tickets will be sold with prizes being awarded to the top 5 ducks.

DRYDEN – The Wabigoon River will see 1,000 rubber ducks floating down it on Sept. 18 after the Rotary Club of Dryden releases them for the 2022 Lucky Duck Race, a fundraiser for youth programming in the community. 

Only 1,000 tickets will be sold at a price of $5 each at Lotto One or from any Rotary member, with prizes being awarded to the top five ducks. 

First place will win $1,000, second will receive $500, third wins $400, fourth wins $300 and fifth place will get $200. 

The race starts at Victoria Street Dock at 2 p.m. and organizers encourage the public to head out and watch the race.
