MISHKEEGOGAMANG — Three local residents face charges following a drug trafficking investigation on Mishkeegogamang First Nation, 360 kilometres northwest of Thunder Bay.
Nishnawbe Aski Police service announced the arrests were made after a search warrant was executed Sunday at a residence.
A quantity of suspected cocaine was seized on the premises.
The accused, who are all charged with possession of cocaine for the purpose of trafficking, include a 33-year-old woman, a 31-year-old woman and a 29-year-old man.
They were all released from custody pending a future appearance in court.
NAPS has not yet released their identities.
