FORT FRANCES – Ontario Provincial Police have arrested and charged three individuals for drug trafficking.
At about 4 p.m. Tuesday, officers were dispatched to a local hotel and began an investigation into three individuals located there.
Their investigation led to the arrest of a 48-year-old Thunder Bay man for possession of a Schedule 1 substance for the purpose of trafficking as well as two counts of failure to comply with a release order.
Two other Thunder Bay residents, 27 and 34 years old, were charged with possession of a controlled substance for trafficking.
Two of the accused were remanded into custody to appear in front of a Fort Frances court on Friday. The third was released with a court appearance scheduled for Nov. 4 in Fort Frances.
