Treaty 3 Police seize $120,000 worth of drugs

After executing a search warrant in Wabaseemoong First Nations, Treaty Three Police Service seized a large quantity of illegal drugs.

KENORA — The Treaty Three Police Service (T3PS) reports that a 41-year-old female was arrested in connection to the seizure of a large quantity of illegal drugs and Canadian currency in Wabaseemoong First Nation on the evening of Aug. 1.

T3PS executed a search warrant at a residence in the community and found approximately $120,000.00 in illegal substances.

According to T3PS, the seizure included:

  • 233 grams of Methamphetamine
  • 297 grams of Cocaine
  • 11 grams of Crack Cocaine
  • 18 grams of Fentanyl
  • 134 Morphine tablets
  • 101 Oxycodone tablets

The 41-year-old female is facing multiple charges, including five counts of drug trafficking, possession of currency by crime, and possession of a prohibited weapon.

The accused has been held in custody pending a court appearance.
