Survivors recovering in hospital after plane crash

As the investigation continues into the float plane crash in Red Lake, survivors recover in Thunder Bay Regional Health Sciences Centre.

RED LAKE – The Transportation Safety Board of Canada has deployed two investigators to Red Lake to look into an accident involving a De Havilland DHC-2 Beaver aircraft, operated by Canadian Fly-In Fishing Service on June 16.  

According to OPP, two individuals were seriously injured and three sustained minor injuries. All individuals were transported to  hospital by emergency medical services to be treated for their injuries.

TSB said no new information will be released until the investigation concludes.
