MUNICIPALITY OF SIOUX LOOKOUT

SIOUX LOOKOUT -- The Sioux Lookout Municipal Truth and Reconciliation Committee is reviewing the name of Umfreville Park.
The Committee would like to rename the park to reflect and celebrate the Indigenous history of the park and surrounding area.
To this end, they have released a survey requesting public feedback on renaming and seeking information on the Indigenous history of the park and area.
Please note that the proposed renaming of Umfreville Park does NOT include the Umfreville Trail.
