SIOUX LOOKOUT – Dean, a retiree, says he has been a regular lottery player since 1975.

"I've been playing my own numbers, and this is my first big win," he shared while at the OLG Prize Centre in Toronto to pick up his winnings. "I always say yes to Encore!"

The 60-year-old father says he was checking his tickets on a Sunday morning while enjoying his coffee when he got to his last ticket and thought he won $100. "I was pleasantly surprised when I checked the ticket again and noticed it was actually $100,000," he smiled. "I started screaming for my wife and we celebrated with a special breakfast – bacon, eggs and mimosas!"

Dean plans to pay off some bills and set the rest aside. "I may treat myself to a snowmachine and consider going on a cruise with my wife," he concluded.

The winning ticket was purchased at Sioux Lottery Centre on Front Street in Sioux Lookout.

Encore offers 22 ways to win and can be played in conjunction with most lottery games for an extra $1. There is an Encore draw every day.
