SIJHL postpones Friday's games due to weather

The Kam River Fighting Walleye had been set to host the Dryden GM Ice Dogs, while the Thunder Bay North Stars were due to travel to face the Red Lake Miners, and the Fort Frances Lakers were scheduled to meet up with the Sioux Lookout Bombers.

The Superior International Junior Hockey League won't be dropping the puck for any of their scheduled Friday games.

The league announced that the three games on tap will be postponed due to poor weather conditions across the region.

The Kam River Fighting Walleye had been set to host the Dryden GM Ice Dogs, while the Thunder Bay North Stars were due to travel to face the Red Lake Miners, and the Fort Frances Lakers were scheduled to meet up with the Sioux Lookout Bombers.

The league said decisions about whether Saturday games will go ahead will be made at a later time.
