KENORA – Ontario Provincial Police Kenora Community Street Crime Unit with assistance from the Organized Crime Enforcement Bureau and the Emergency Response Team executed a search warrant at a residence on Ninth Street North in the City of Kenora.
As a result of the investigation, OPP arrested three individuals and seized of a number illicit substances including fentanyl, crystal methamphetamine, hydromorphone tablets, and other items used in the sale of illegal drugs. The approximate street value of the suspected illicit substances is worth over $6,000. A taser was also seized.
A 34-years-old female from Kenora has been arrested and charged with:
- Trafficking methamphetamine
- Trafficking fentanyl
- Possession for the purpose of trafficking methamphetamine
- Possession for the purpose of trafficking fentanyl
- Possession for the purpose of trafficking hydromorphone
- Possession of property obtained by crime under $5000
- Knowledge of unauthorized possession of a weapon
- Possession of prohibited device or ammunition
- Fail to comply with the release order
Two 40-years-old males of Kenora were arrested on warrants and have been charged with the following:
- Possession of a controlled substance
The accused have been remanded into custody and are scheduled to appear before the Ontario Court of Justice in Kenora on Nov. 25.
