RIDE program yields results

Kenora’s R.I.D.E program has led to one individual being arrested and charged with impaired operation.

KENORA – In the afternoon on March 10, OPP was conducting a RIDE program near Norman Drive when a driver was pulled over to provide a breath sample.

OPP stated that the driver was impaired by alcohol.

As a result, a 38-year-old from Kenora has been arrested and charged with impaired driving and two counts of driving while under suspension.

The accused has been released from custody and is scheduled to appear before the court on April 4.
