EMO — The Township of Emo has rescinded its order of restricted water usage.

In a posting Aug. 6 on social media, the municipality asked all users of the municipal water distribution to curb unnecessary usage.

The township said restrictions were needed “due to low raw water flow” in its system.

Township chief administrative officer Crystal Gray said last Wednesday the township would post on social media when restrictions are lifted.

Monday’s notice rescinding the order reminded residents to follow the township’s 2001 bylaw on water usage.
