DRYDEN-The City of Dryden has amended its bylaws to allow for backyard hens on rural or residential properties.

Their announcement makes it clear, however, that certain restrictions still apply, including things such as:

  • Location
  • Size
  • Maintenance of hen coops
  • The number of hens allowed based on property zoning and size.

More information about these bylaw amendments can be found on the city's website or by contacting the By-law Enforcement Officer at 807-223-2225 ext. 518.
