RED LAKE—For some who do not know this, the Red Lake Miners have made it to the 2022 Centennial Cup.

The Red Lake Miners are a junior “A” hockey team based in Red Lake, and with the Centennial cup starting, the Municipality of Red Lake wants the community to watch and cheer the team on as the team competes.

Like so many hockey teams in the Superior International Junior Hockey League who faced the restrictions and consequences of the COVID-19 pandemic, the Red Lake Miners worked hard, faced these challenges and are now confident that they are ready to face the challenges on the ice.

The Municipality of Red Lake website provided information as to how its community can watch and cheer on the team.
